Na who go carry last for this Rivers State wahala? Former Governor of Rivers State and current Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, has stirred up fresh political gbas gbos. On a recent episode of Politics Today on Channels TV, Wike didn't hold back as he dared President Bola Tinubu to release the much-talked-about forensic audit report of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC).

According to Wike, the report contains damning revelations about his political rival and predecessor, Rotimi Amaechi. He alleged that Amaechi’s wife was receiving a jaw-dropping ₦4 billion monthly to "train Niger Delta women." In his words, “That’s ₦48 billion in one year alone! Make una calculate am.”

Wike insisted that the forensic audit was buried by the former Attorney General, Abubakar Malami, to protect some “big men” involved. In a dramatic twist, Wike vowed, “If that report is released and doesn’t indict Amaechi, I go resign as FCT Minister.” He added, “I no dey worship office.”

For Naija folks who love their political drama with extra pepper, this one dey hot. Wike even took jabs at Amaechi’s academic qualifications and debunked the claim that Amaechi got a Rolls-Royce gift from a senator. Instead, Wike claimed the luxury ride came from a contractor doing major projects during Amaechi’s tenure as Rivers governor.

Na true talk or political stunt? Nigerians are watching closely, popcorn in hand. As e be like this, the call for President Tinubu to release the NDDC audit is growing louder. If he answers, it could either end Wike’s ministerial career or vindicate his claims. Either way, e go shock everybody.
